Born in 1958 in Harderwijk, in the Dutch province of Gelderland, she lives and works in The Hague. Anne studied Applied and Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (1986-1990) in Amsterdam and she has been actively exhibiting her work since 1991 throughout Europe, the USA and Japan, where it can be found in many private collections.

Her main sources of inspiration are classic and elementary forms, with a focus on experimentation and conceptual thinking within a given context. Her work is autonomous and is the result of studies in materials and a close analysis of shapes. Anne Rose presents her ideas as metal objects and paintings.
